Geomap is an experiment. It is a fully detailed global map shown in ascii characters. It is really

impractical and i doubt itd be something to actually use in an offgrid situation but seemed like a

fun idea.

I had removed it from the main site navibar as the map is very high bandwidth on the network so

anybody wanting to try it can naviagte to it from the home page.

The system is able to zoom into down to 2 miles in view and marks highways and main roads in many

place. This is done using open source map data, and will download them as needed.
